1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Synkron Training Center website and the purchase and participation in training courses and related services offered through https://trainingcenter.synkron.africa.

By registering for a course, making a payment, creating an account, or otherwise using the Synkron Training Center website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please do not register for or purchase our services.

2. About Synkron Training Center

Synkron Training Center provides professional and technical training programmes, courses and related learning services.

Course information, including course descriptions, dates, duration, location, delivery method, fees and other details, will be provided on the website or through official communications from Synkron Training Center.

3. Course Registration

Registration for a course may be completed through the Synkron Training Center website or through other official registration channels.

A registration is considered confirmed once the required registration information has been provided and the applicable course fee has been successfully received, unless otherwise communicated by Synkron Training Center.

Participants are responsible for providing accurate and complete registration information.

Synkron Training Center reserves the right to contact a participant where additional information is required to complete registration.

4. Course Fees and Payments

All applicable course fees will be displayed before payment is made.

Payments must be made using the payment methods made available by Synkron Training Center, including the payment methods provided through the website.

A payment confirmation or receipt may be issued following successful payment.

Synkron Training Center reserves the right to correct pricing or other errors displayed on the website. Where an incorrect price has been displayed and payment has already been made, the customer will be contacted and the appropriate resolution communicated.

Accepted payment methods, including applicable cards and mobile money options, will be displayed on the website payment page at the point of checkout.

Card and other online payments made through the website are processed by Synkron Training Center's appointed payment service provider(s). Each payment service provider used is PCI-DSS certified and uses industry-standard encryption to protect payment data. Synkron Training Center does not store card details on its own systems; card information is entered and held only on the relevant payment service provider's secure platform.

The merchant outlet country for online payments made through this website is Kenya. Course fees are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES); other currencies may be accepted where supported by the applicable payment method, subject to any conversion rate and charges applied by the participant's bank or payment provider.

5. Course Availability

Course dates, schedules, trainers, locations, delivery methods and course content may be subject to change where reasonably necessary.

Synkron Training Center will make reasonable efforts to notify registered participants of significant changes as soon as practicable.

6. Course Cancellation or Postponement by Synkron Training Center

Synkron Training Center reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule a course where circumstances reasonably require it, including insufficient enrolment, trainer availability, operational circumstances, venue issues, technical issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where Synkron Training Center cancels a course, the affected participant may, subject to availability:

 transfer their registration to another available course or date; or

 request a refund in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Participant Cancellation

Participants who wish to cancel their registration must notify Synkron Training Center through the official contact channels provided on the website.

Any refund arising from a participant cancellation will be handled in accordance with the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Participants are encouraged to submit cancellation requests as early as possible.

8. Transfer to Another Participant

Course registrations are generally personal to the registered participant.

A participant may request to transfer their registration to another person by contacting Synkron Training Center before the applicable course commencement date.

Any transfer is subject to approval and may require the replacement participant to satisfy applicable course requirements.

9. Non-Attendance

Failure to attend a scheduled course without prior notice does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund.

Where appropriate, Synkron Training Center may, at its discretion, allow a participant to transfer to a future course or date.

10. Training Materials and Intellectual Property

All course materials, presentations, manuals, documents, videos, graphics, assessments, recordings, logos, trademarks and other materials provided by Synkron Training Center remain the property of Synkron Training Center or the relevant rights holder unless otherwise stated.

Training materials are provided for the participant’s personal or authorised organisational use only.

Participants must not reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, modify, record or commercially exploit training materials without prior written permission from Synkron Training Center.

11. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully during training.

Synkron Training Center reserves the right to remove a participant from a training session where their conduct materially disrupts the training, threatens the safety or wellbeing of others, or otherwise breaches these Terms & Conditions.

Removal due to misconduct does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund.

12. Certificates

Where a course provides for a certificate of completion, certification will be subject to the applicable course requirements.

Synkron Training Center reserves the right to withhold certification where the participant does not satisfy the relevant attendance, assessment or other requirements.

13. Website Use

Users agree to use the website lawfully and responsibly.

Users must not:

 attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;

 interfere with the operation or security of the website;

 submit false or misleading information;

 use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes; or

 copy or misuse website content without permission.

14. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website and online services available and operational. However, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, security incidents, internet connectivity or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Synkron Training Center will make reasonable efforts to restore affected services as soon as practicable.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Synkron Training Center will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use of the website, participation in a course, or inability to access a service.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

16. Privacy and Personal Information

Synkron Training Center may collect and process personal information provided by users and participants for purposes including registration, payment processing, communication, training administration and service delivery.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

17. Third-Party Services

Synkron Training Center is not responsible for the independent operation, policies or practices of thirdparty service providers.

18. Changes to These Terms

Synkron Training Center may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kenya.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the applicable laws and jurisdiction of Kenya.
